To enter the mysterious Mirror World, you will need to first have an Aeria Games account. If you have not done so, you can register here. With this account ID, you gain access to many new worlds and exciting adventures, like Pi Story, Stone Age 2, and of course Dream of Mirror! But for now, let's focus on DOMO, of course.
Before you take your first steps into this magical realm, you must first create you character. Have fun, but create wisely, as you can only create two characters per account.
From here, first choose your race. You have four races (with male/female option for each) to choose from:
• Human
• Sylph
• Shura
• Sprite
For more information on the various races, go here.
Customize your character here. Again, make your choices carefully, as your character’s appearance is set once you begin your journey. However a few aspects can be changed later with Item Mall items, such as hair color with Hair Dyes.
The first steps of your journey take you to the "Beginners' Village." This is your own private town, where you can meet with your race's Elder, reset your stats at the "Reset Master", or teleport to the proud city of Eversun, where your fellow dreamers await. Take this time to explore and learn the game's interface and controls in a peaceful, easy-to-navigate environment. For help with the controls, go here. DOMO is unique in that it allows for either "WASD" keyboard movement or "point-and-click" mouse controls. By default, DOMO will load with WASD movement enabled. To disable this and use "point & click" click on the menu icon
or or press Ctrl+N to bring up the "Options" menu.
Once this menu is up, uncheck "Use ASWD to move," which will now enable you to control your character using the mouse to point and click directly on the screen.
Your first quest in the Beginners' Village will be to hunt some of the wild PuPus for the Elder. Go north of town and hunt some of these pink, pudgy pigs for the item they drop. When you give these items to the Elder, he will give you a Beginner’s Dagger, which you can equip on your character. To do this, click on both the Equipment icon
which can also be toggled by pressing Ctrl+S, and the Item icon
which is toggled open and closed by pressing Ctrl+D.
This will open the two windows above. To equip the weapon, just drag it from the Item window and drop it in the appropriate slot in the Equipment window. You can also simply double-click the piece of equipment you'd like to wear, and it will be automatically equipped in the correct slot. You'll still have to double-click in the equipment menu to un-equip a piece of armor or a weapon, though.
Once you’ve finished fending off those Wild Pupus, return to the elder to finish the quest. When you are ready to leave, go to the "Eversun Teleporter" and he will send you off to the city to begin your adventure. Should you need any further help, listen to your trusty little fairy
who will be happy (often a little too happy, even!) to give you tips and pointers about your adventure.
