Skills

As players gain levels in their jobs, they can purchase Skills with skill points, and these skills can be used even when a player isn't currently playing the job they came from! There are three types of skills that players may equip: Battle Skills, Passive Skills, and Reaction Skills.

  • Battle Skills - Players are capable of equipping up to two skillsets aside from those of their current job at any time (except for Commoners, who can equip three). When a skillset is equipped, the character will have access to all skills they have learned within that skillset. However, in most cases, players cannot use a skill more than 10 levels above the level of their current class. With the ability to mix and match skills and whole skillsets, DOMO gives players an unparalleled amount of freedom to decide how they fight!
  • Passive Skills - Passive Skills, once equipped, are "always on" - they take no MP to use and are effective without further player interaction. The most common examples of Passive Skills are the abilities to equip certain weapons and armor types regardless of one's class. All Commoner Skills are also passive abilities - Commoner is the only class in the game that has no Battle Skills and only Passive Skills.
  • Reaction Skills - When a Reaction Skill is equipped, certain character attributes are boosted, and a counter-strike may be launched when a player is attacked. For example, when equipped with the Thief's Reaction Skill, players can make an automatic attempt to steal from enemies who attack them!

*note: Reaction Skills have not yet been implemented in the North American version of DOMO yet*

With such extensive customization options, DOMO offers you the ability to fight however you like! You can bolster your strengths, cover your weaknesses, make a character perfect for parties or solo fighting, or even sub the perfect abilities to help you come out on top in player-vs-player duels! Because in the Mirror World, it's all about being who you want to be.
